State Representative Jon Cross (R-Kenton) is a proud husband and father, passionate public servant and principled conservative serving his first term in the Ohio House of Representatives. Representative Cross is proud to champion and represent over 113,000 people that live, work and prosper in the 83rd District, which includes Hancock, Hardin and (part of) Logan Counties.
With a legislative focus to make Ohio safer, stronger and open for business, Representative Cross serves on the committees of Energy and Natural Resources, Finance, Finance Subcommittee on Transportation, Financial Institutions and Publicn Utilities.
Representative Cross previously served as the economic development director for Hardin County and remains active with the Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance. His career pathway has allowed him to obtain a vast amount of public and private sector work experiences throughout the United States in business, government, non-profit, real estate development and economic development.
A native of Kenton, Representative Cross graduated from The Ohio State University. He is a member of the Young Professionals Alliance, Elks Lodge #157, Moose Lodge #428, The Ohio State Alumni Association, Ohio Farm Bureau, Buckeye Firearms Association and the National Rifle Association.
He is married to his wife and best friend Christina Cross, who is a practicing attorney and educator. They are loving parents of their two young boys Carson and Connor, and are members of St. Michael the Archangel Parish of Findlay.
